After driving round all day visiting various other dealerships, something just didn't feel right. I'd pretty much given up hope before I popped into Motortrust Lancaster for my last visit of the day. Nick greeted me and we instantly hit it off. He really knew his stuff and despite the Nissan X-Trail's being generally out of budget, he managed to find one in my price range. My little Yaris is a lovely little car and although I don't do a huge amount of miles, it's perfect for nipping about town.

Admittedly I've always had a spot for Peugeot 508s, so I promised myself I’d get one when the time was right. My journey started at another dealership, but as soon as I arrived I realised the seller had been far from honest. The car was in terrible condition, and to make matters worse, I discovered it was an ex-police car which was something else he conveniently failed to mention. But every cloud has a silver lining and a quick Google search led me to Motortrust in Lancaster which was just 20 minutes away from the first place, and the difference was night and day. Every car in their lot was immaculate, and Nick and the team were fantastic. Most importantly they were completely transparent, honest, and true to their word—no games or gimmicks. I recently treated myself to a Vauxhall Corsa GSI Turbo, and what a BEAST it is! Driving it's an absolute blast and I couldn’t be happier—if you couldn’t tell already, haha! Huge thanks to the team at Motortrust in Lancaster. Each and every staff member are an incredible credit to the dealership. Funny enough, I wasn’t planning on buying a car that day I was just tagging along with my wife. But the moment I spotted the GSI it gleaming in the showroom I knew I had to have it. We ended up buying two cars in one visit which is something we wouldn’t have done anywhere else. They definitely deserve this 5-star rating as there’s just no faulting them.

I'm totally in love with my new Mini Cooper. I've always wanted one and it sure doesn't disappoint. I wanted to write this review as a thank you to the kind fellow who I dealt with, but god forgive me, I've forgotten his name. He was a lovely gentleman who was super charming and friendly. He left me to look in peace and at my own pace, and I didn't feel pressured once. I can't say I've found buying cars particularly enjoyable in the past, but this is an experience I'd gladly repeat.
