Illegal practices of selling a car with clocked mileage! LM15 HZE, see for yourself. Shame I was so trusting and relied on the information that they provided me.. No documents were provided until the money had cleared. Definitely saw me coming rubbing their hands together. Only once I had received the documents that I noticed over 40,000 miles had miraculously disappeared from the clock..... Manager went against own 14 day money back guarantee by withholding £100 with no genuine explanation except I had put 150 miles on the clock, which I had to, in order to return the car that they had illegally sold me. Oh and that the car would need revaleting.. Considering they have their own valeting service, that would hardly break the bank. False promises re timing of refund. Stated the car came with full service history, see from photos was just 2 vague stamps. Owner's attitude totally stinks, and he even took time out of his 'holiday' to research the company I work for to fish out any negative reviews. Funny how he has his own staff leaving Google reviews on here. See Stephen Kay's review below and on his email to me, clearly desperate to give a good (albeit false) impression. Owner would also not provide me with their 'comprehensive complaints policy' as outlined on their website and refuses to accept my complaint via email. Although I know full well that my written complaint to the garage will have been put straight into the bin. . I was willing to leave things as they were had I received a full refund but now it's a matter of principle. I Have already contacted trading standards and I am in the process of submitting a claim under the Consumer regulations for unfair trading as their negligence has left me out of pocket. Funny how they have not listed the car for sale again since....Owner cannot resist having the last word and clearly doesn't like being stood up to and sees it as 'bullying' as he has mentioned in previous negative reviews on here. Shame he didn't retire 20 years ago to save myself and other customers the negligence he has displayed! I will look forward to reading his reply to this.
