I bought a used car from Mountbatten Car Sales independent Approved dealership and within the first month of ownership I experienced: Flat battery; Serious misfire and associated limp mode; Blocked air filter; Blocked cabin/pollen filter; Faulty coolant level sensor; Faulty MAP sensor. I have had to rectify these issues myself as I haven’t the time to keep taking the car back to the garage once or twice a day. There is an issue with poor communication between Richard in Sales and the mechanics in the garage. Liam is not responsive to issues and has poor communication in after sales. The dealership operates under a dis-honest sales manner which causes confusion for what is expected when it comes to purchasing a car. Be very cautious when relying on the Pre-Delivery and Vehicle Inspection & Service check list (conducted by Ray in the garage in my case) which is promised to the customer on purchasing a car. It is very likely that it will not be honoured as in my case any of the items that were ticked had not been checked. This led to multiple faults.
