Not a good experience for me

I travelled for some distance to test drive a 9 year old Peugeot Partner Tepee advertised for what looked like a good price. Tidy looking vehicle but when driven, I immediately noticed really obvious vibrations / shudders through the clutch pedal when depressed. Bloke said he hadn’t noticed this despite just having driven the car. He then went on to tell me it likely needed the dual mass flywheel and clutch replacing which would cost around £500. When asked if he was willing to get this done before sale he said no as he wouldn’t make any money. Seems an odd way to do business to me. As I arrived an elderly couple had just completed a sale and they seemed perfectly happy but my experience at Ashworth Car Centre was not good.
