Not a good experience

Do your homework before buying from Auto Channel. Be cautious when viewing reviews. It is easy to leave glowing 5* reviews so trust your instincts above all else. My own experience of Auto Channel have been very disappointing. Supposedly being an AA Approved dealer, l did not get the level of honesty l might have expected. . I imagined the cars are AA inspected in some way, given the Approved status, but this does not seem to be the case. It was only after purchasing the car l noticed some repaired damage and paint overspray,to a not particularly good standard. I accept this is my fault for not being more diligent in my checks to begin with. Good dealerships would perhaps be more up front and honest about such issues rather than hoping they go unnoticed. There was some trim missing which Graham told me would be replaced, and assured me of such on several subsequent occasions. However, the replacement trim never materialised and communication stopped. To con a customer in such a cavalier fashion is beneath contempt and l have regrets over purchasing from Auto Channel and would not trust them in future. Would l recommend them to others. In a word, No. Treat some 5*' reviews with scepticism. View other review sites as well for a wider spread of opinion
