Hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Really wish I knew how bad this dealer was when I bought my car back in June, but unfortunately my online research didn’t come up with anything so I stupidly put my trust in him. Turned up to meet me with it in a car park with no paperwork and had a door handle missing..... had to register the car again myself as he lost all the paperwork... Car broke down on the motorway a 3 days after I bought it and he still hadn’t given me any details of the warranty. Despite avoiding my calls for days he only got back to me when I threatened to call the police, however the warranty company were just as bad and were not interested in paying out on my claim. The dealer agreed to pay part of the costs on the condition that he used ‘his’ mechanic and got the parts himself at trade price which took him a further week to sort... still having issues now with the RAC out twice, and mechanics have commented on the shoddy patch up jobs and wrong parts used. I’ve learnt a few lessons here... still I see the website is down so hopefully nobody else is being scammed.
