bad experience
I don't normaly write reviews but felt this is well deserved! worst customer service ever,(shame there isn't minus stars) I travelled from London by train after agreeing to purchase a van. Spoke to Mathew who seemed very charming on the phone ,he sent me a video and photos of the van and I spotted what looked like stains and pointed that out to him and he assured me they were just shadows and took his word for it as I asked him again but reassured me there were no stains..He also stated it had one owner but on the morning I was going to travel there I did a hpi check and found it was 2 owners, however I chose to carry on with the sale regardless but that was the 1st lie.On arriving Mathew was not there as he was on leave but he did tell me that and dealt with his assistant Carl.He gave me the keys to have a look and opened the drivers door and immediately spotted an obvious dip in the lumber support and went to feel it and the cloth went right through to the metal support under the seat, this was not mentioned in any of our conversations but stood out and there was no way they would have not noticed it.Furthermore the stains which i was told were shadows were so obvious and badly stained at that.Also the passenger seat was fraying in the middle again conveniently not mentioned.I was also told before i travelled there were another 2 vans similar in case this one was not suitable but was told they had taken deposits for them when I got there,insidently one of the vans had a dent on the side and a bad scratch at the back only one of the dents were mentioned.After I started pointing things out to Carl he suddenly became uninterested in my custom and walked off with other customers and left me to it.I was now panicking as the day was going and had no return ticket to London as I was almost certain I was going to be driving the van back.I was also going to look at an aygo but was so disappointed with the attitude of the salesman and the condition of the van that I just wanted to get out of there. I didn't even have the time to argue anything as Carl wasn't the one I dealt with in the 1st place.To sum everything up I was lied to and wasted over £100 and my day travelling even when I sent an email to Mathew he didn't bother replying until I contacted someone on the live chat and he didn't reply to my questions in the email he sent so I sent him another.I read the reviews on the 1st page but made the mistake on not seeing them in detail as I noticed a couple of very similar ratings to mine ,absolute nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
