I have just purchased my latest car from Martin Atkinson Specialist Cars Ltd, this time a low mileage Audi A8 in immaculate condition with a full-service history. Martin is a totally honest and fair car dealer – somewhat unusual in these difficult times. From my house in South Devon to their showroom is 600 miles return journey. This is now my 5th purchase from them, over the past few years, In total, I must have travelled in excess of 3000 miles to purchase cars from Martin (Lexus GS300, Volvo C70, Land Rover Freelander 2, Skoda Superb 3.6 V6 and lastly, my Audi A8) One doesn’t do that repeatedly unless completely satisfied in every way. The Audi A8 was exactly as described and presented on YouTube video. Martin and has son Toby also gave me an excellent trade in amount for my part-exchange vehicle. Having now purchased FIVE x cars from them, we have both built up a great degree of trust and respect between us and again I was not disappointed on this last occasion. I travelled up over Saturday night (to avoid impending lockdown) arriving at their showroom at just after 7am Sunday morning. Martin was already there and the car was ready to drive away. That is sheer dedication and professionalism. Martin was as always, very accommodating and after a welcome coffee, made the whole purchasing process quick, easy and stress free. The cars Martin and his sons have in stock are high quality, well looked after pristine examples, presented and valeted to the very highest standards, with the Audi A8 I bought being no exception in fantastic condition. His vehicles have always been presented in an immaculate condition, better than main dealers. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his son Toby who kept me informed via email both before and after the transaction was completed. Martin and his two sons and the rest of their team have a real passion for selling cars. This can clearly be seen in the service they provide, again clearly evidenced when dealing with them. Once again, it was a total pleasure to do business with them. The whole experience was courteous, respectful, extremely friendly, relaxed, professional and totally stress free with no pressure at all. Absolute faultless customer care and attention to detail. Martin and his son Toby are true gentlemen, and I cannot recommend them highly enough, Will be returning again in the near future for another car either for myself or one of my two sons.
