Dissapointing

I'd be very careful buying from this garage .. My husband and I bought a car from this garage just after lockdown. We noticed from the day of test driving it that it was smoking from the rear brakes ..long story short there was no room for movement on the cost of the car we were told, however we took the word of this "trusted family garage" as we were told that the car just needed to be driven having been sat for 3 months and the brakes are just sticking. We did however buy the extended warranty which was on offer and would cover the brakes if it was an issue 'apparently' which I now believe is a pile of missold rubbish as we have never received this warranty and have called multiple times to chase it up. Apparently they can't touch the car as it might void the warranty lol but we bought the warranty through the garage. We have now taken the car to a different garage now to be told that the brakes are actually seized and that it needs new brakes and calipers which is now costing us 1100 quid out of our own pocket. We have had this car since June by the way .. 5 months later, no help and no warranty through, if by some miracle we do ever receive the warranty through we have already lost 5 months use of it so absolute waste of money ! This garage is all just about money making, appalling aftercare customer service.
