Absolute Gangsters

I bought a year old Hilux and found the salesman extremely difficult to contact or for him to respond to my calls and emails. When I collected the vehicle there was a large crack in the windscreen which to be honest I was at a loss as to how the SDM people could possibly not have known about it. My only conclusion is that they did know about it but because of the cost of replacement, they were hoping that I would drive away without noticing it and be liable for the replacement. In the end, I had to fight for many weeks before they finally and very reluctantly paid for the replacement. I also found after taking possession of the vehicle that it was missing a jack and toolkit, as well as various minor scratches and a missing screw from the bonnet guard. None of which would you expect from an approved Toyota. Their overall attitude towards any problem with the vehicle was that it was certainly not their problem, but mine. I am still waiting for a jack and toolkit. I cant understand how a fantastic company like Toyota have such a crowd of gangsters representing their brand!
