Avoid for any sort of repair

Car went to Kerr and Smith for an insurance repair. I was told the job would take 8 to 10 days, it took 8 weeks. The manager kept giving false time scales and would not return my calls. The paintwork was terrible with dirt under the paint and areas so poorly sprayed that you could see primer. The wheel arches were poorly aligned and hanging off. They had billed the insurance provider for work which was not carried out. This was all verified by an independent assessor who had to look at the car in order for it to be properly repaired. It cost the insurer £1600 to rectify their attempted repair.
