Awful practice. Highly discourage anyone

strongly discourage anyone to use Duff Morgan Seat in Norwich for ANY of their services. I was sold a complete lemon ‘used and approved’ car by a slippery salesman that fed me no end of lies. He lied about the cars functionality telling me the sport button stiffened the suspension (it does not) he lied and told me that black wheels were part of a limited run offered from factory (they were poorly rattle canned by the previous owner). One of the tyres was questionably legal when we went for a test drive which they agreed to have changed before sale and they wanted to replace the single tyre with a £5 cheap Chinese tyre instead of changing both tyres on the rear of the car which is best practice. Bearing in mind this is an Ibiza cupra 180bhp which is supposed to be a sporty car. Also I had no end of problems with the car. It was burning oil faster than it was petrol, the water pump went immediately, the timing chain had not been done on the service that the dealer carried out before they sold it to me (even though it was already due - this is very expensive job and was a big blow for me and they refused to cover it). I had the car for 6 months and probably drove it for about 1 month in total because it was always in the garage broken and being repaired. After the car started going into the limp mode and misfiring for the second time within 6 months of my ownership (having already been fixed under warranty) I spoke to the sales manager and Insisted on a refund on the car which was well within my rights. He agreed and told me to bring the car in so they could diagnose the issue and then negotiate my refund when they knew what the cause of the problem was. When I dropped the car off I specifically said do not fix it without speaking to me first and try and give it back to me because I want a refund. What happened after that? They ‘fixed’ it and told me to collect it, the sales manager denied any knowledge our previous conversation of a refund and my comments when I dropped the car off - then they told me they wouldn’t be considering a refund and offered to buy the car back off of me for £2000 less than i had paid 6 months prior. I begrudgingly took the car back with a bitter taste in my mouth after being well and truly done over. A month later the car went into limp mode again and I got rid of it myself. Worst experience of buying I car I have ever had. And further to that they still call me an invite me to come down for their ‘amazing sale’ every other month. I’ve already told them to delete my number from their cold calling trap for more helpless victims but they don’t seem to have listened.
