Appalling Customer Service
Appalling customer service. My son booked to test drive a DS3, the first car he's bought himself, last Saturday at the Poole Citreön branch. Just after we left home for the 45min drive he had am answerphone message to say the car had been sold. We carried on there and he test drove another DS3 along with looking through the group's stock. He found another DS3 over at the Christchurch branch which the salesman said he would go and get for viewing during the week. My son confirmed viewing on Thursday gone but on arrival the car was not there. To say he was not impressed was an understatement and if it had been me I would have been out of there. Apparently Christchurch wanted the car back but the salesman did not contact my son to tell him. My son was still keen as the salesman said he could get the car back Friday for Saturday viewing. They negotiated a good deal and left it that the salesman would email Friday (yesterday) to confirm the car was there. To my son's disbelief he had no email from the salesman yesterday and so last night emailed him to tell him to forget it. I was dumbfounded. No communication, no apology, no car. You would think they need the sales in these current times. Avoid at all costs. Places like this give car dealers a bad name. Awful.
