We bought a car from Cole Group in Bournemouth. Car looked nice and clean, on day of purchase we have asked to test drive it and Cole Group said it would not be possible due to where the car was parked. We were desperate and needed a car so we just went with it (we realise now that we made a real bad decision). The salesman reassured us that the car was in good working order condition. We turned the engine on it seemed fine. It had 8 month MOT on it, we asked for it to be renewed to a full year but again said it was not possible. We took the car home after a couple of days when it was ready. In the first day I noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine, we took it back and the mechanic on their site said it was normal it's how a diesel engine should sound. So we went back home and that noise got worse gradually, we got it diagnosed and a major problem was found and would cost us £1000. I looked into the trading standards and got advice, contacted Cole and they offered only partial payment for the car to be fixed at a garage chosen by them. Car got fixed but other problems came after that, the car also had electrical faults which we found out after changing a large amount of light bulbs and the windows started to open or close to the opposite way which was pressed. The car always had a delay on the turbo since first day of purchase, last month a year and 3 months after buying the car our turbo just gave in without any notice, the car now is worth £400. We will definitely not go back to Cole group and also we do not recommend anyone to buy a car from them. Not just because they are not trustworthy but because of the bad customer service they provide.
