Con Job

With my Mother dying I needed a car ASAP. Saw a Honda Jazz automatic with 'Dudley Road Motors' as they were called earlier in the year which fitted my needs and, because of the emergency I was in, I bought it unseen - after being assured it was an excellent little car in good condition and had had a pre-sales service carried out. Car arrived much later than promised (and 2 days after my Mothers passing) - and it reeked of stale smoke and had many cigarette burns in the upholstery. Now, 6 months later I have just had a full service + MOT carried out by a Honda garage at a cost of over £1.090 - The MOT failures needed almost £800 to rectify! It failed on brake pads, discs, callipers and track rods (split pins broken/missing!!). Various advisories, mostly wear and tear, but one is of a bent cross member that has gone into the (air-con) condenser which Honda say could only have happened in an accident. Nobody told me it had had a 'bump' when I purchased it! Not at all happy with this company. Either be VERY careful, or go elsewhere.
