VERY ABUSIVE

Left a deposit at 4.50pm with the intention to travel down (90miles away) to view the following day. I was unable to make the journey as I was unexpectedly needed for work that day and as I was unsure of when I would be available to make the journey, I text messaged before 8am the following morning to explain the situation and ask if he could refund my deposit. He told me that wouldn't as he had lost a sale of the vehicle as he had turned away interested buyers that afternoon, but I didn't speak to him until 4.50pm, so obviously a lie. I called him and he wouldn't even listen to me when I was trying to explain my situation, repeatedly talking over me and when I said that I found his attitude very strange he called me a c**t. If he'd taken the time to listen, I was going to say that if he could refund me, I would get in touch when I was able to make the journey to view the vehicle as I was still interested in it and in the mean time he wouldn't be holding it for me if he had another buyer. I've never come across such abuse from a business owner before and wouldn't dream of speaking to a customer in that way, I've been self employed for over 30 years. DO NOT LEAVE A DEPOSIT WITH THIS DEALER WITHOUT SEEING THE VEHICLE. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole and other reviews seem to agree with this sentiment!
