Grand C4 Citroen

Surprise! Just over 1000 miles ago, I bought a black Citroen Grand C4. Quite a long journey (Oxfordshire to Kent), to buy it really, during Lockdown, but the car looked good, and had been photographed before valeting, so nice to see "As Was!". So, we visited, checked out the boot and bits that help me shift furniture and beehives, and it seemed to be a good option. Not only does this garage offer good vehicle advice, they recommend a great fish and chip place in Eastbourne! The Pelican! Try it, I'd be surprised if you didn't like something of that menu, and the way it was cooked that night was fab, Thanks again. Oh yes, the car, well, we settled on a time to collect and pay, didn't argue on price as thought it was a fair one, and I hate being beaten down when I sell stuff! Returned to collect, all shiny standing on the forecourt, paid and drove home, could have been better weather, but hey, that's when you need good windscreen wipers and a clean car to see where the road is. The problems I have had since then are mostly what some folks call "Operator Error!". If only I knew how to solve that one, keeps happening to me! The only thing I should have checked was there, and it isn't, so I'll get another, was the locking wheel nut key, and I can see it was used, as the brake pads are very recent. So, all in all, a great garage to deal with, highly recommended, and I'm sorry I don't live nearer them, but that's my fault, as it looks like a nice area, I would enjoy. Having driven the car just over 1000 miles since buying it, I can say I am really enjoying it, and it has helped to improve my driving, and I feel so much more relaxed. Oh yes, got free AA cover, so I must activate it, whoops, it's that operator error again!
