Worse car dealer

I purchased a Citroen Picasso c3. For £1500. After taking home the car some 70 miles away I noticed there was a fault with the engine. I contacted the dealer and explain the problem and if he would accept repair costs. he refuses, and say I don't give warranty and he abruptly said he will not be pain for the repair.. I'm intending to take legal action....
