not sure how they are trading...

I saw a car i really liked that they had listed on ebay, i went and looked at the car and the man sold the car to me with 12 month MOT. I left a deposit and was told when the car would be ready. I phoned the day arranged to pick it up to check if it was all sorted and he said no it still has not been for the MOT. This worried me because i was sold the car with 12 month MOT so i assumed the car was mechanically sound already, after finding this out i asked him, what happens if it fails the MOT? I explained i was not interested if it has lots of issues and he told me any issues will be fixed at his expense so i thought ok that sounds fair. I checked online at the MOT and it had one advisory on the first day then i checked the second day for the re test and it said passed with no advisories so i assumed it had been rectified. Finally 4 days later i collected the car and all seemed ok to start then within a week or two i noticed a slight knocking sound from the suspension so i thought i would take it to my mechanic to check it out before i brought it to the attention of Motor Point Oldham and when the car was inspected my mechanic found several issues that would be an immediate fail on an MOT test so it was obvious the MOT was a fake or the car had been given a certificate without any inspection what so ever, I contacted Motor Point Oldham and asked them what was going on and why has my car i just paid £5K for got a dodgy MOT and they do not care in the slightest, so far i have had to spend an extra £1K of my cash putting it right and it seems to be never ending with problem after problem!!!!!!!
