Be cautious and avoid this dealership.

This was my initial email to the salesman at Hamilton- no response at all. I then wrote a much longer letter to the dealer principal about ten days again- again not a word, no response at all. I have now had the majority of the needed work done at Mercedes, Carlisle under warranty and they were absolutely top notch in their professionalism and service. It seems once they have your money all further interest in you ceases. Best avoided!! "Simon, good afternoon. You may recall the Mercedes E220 I bought from you reflecting on the day of handover 13,942 miles. I traded in a red Honda Civic. Since then and to some extent due to lockdown it has not covered even 3000 miles. In short, virtually the identical condition as when I collected it., It also lives in a heated fully enclosed garage attached to my house and has seldom even been out in the rain let alone any other form of hard use. I took out a service plan shortly after taking delivery and very recently- in fact last Thursday the 9th instant- I went to Mercedes, Carlisle (being closest to me) for the indicated B class service which again for reasons of travel restriction was about 43 days overdue. This was not a major factor as it wasn’t being used anyway. Please see the video below and the several very alarming findings located on the underside of the car. I make no issue of the tyre situation- these things happen due to the state of the roads and are beyond anyone’s control. The items highlighted have shaken my confidence in the car and the perishing and other faults including the wheel bearing problem must have existed when I took delivery.
