Nightmare, 6months and £1500+ in repairs
Bought a transit custom, the next morning there was oil everywhere on the ground upon inspection the oil filter had completely rusted through and caused most of the engine oil to spill out. I rang Cowley Motor Company, asked if it had been serviced he said “all vehicles are serviced before leaving” to which I explained what had happed so no it had not been serviced! “bring it back n we will service it” as this would be difficult not being able to start the van at all and needed it for work we agreed i would buy the oil and filter and service it myself and they would refund the cost of items. This then took 18days of chasing to get the money back (£60)since then weve had countless issues all of which we paid to be fixed as needed the van for work costing over £300.Now to top it off the gearbox has failed garage has quoted £1200 this is devastating for the business and upset us alot. Not the dealers problem as out of warranty
