Open, honest and a pleasure to deal with

Over the last couple of weeks I have travelled twice to buy a fantastic Honda goldwing from David Whitaker, in Curly Hill, Ilkley. The first time to view the bike and negotiate the deal - I was part exchanging another bike. The second time to collect the goldwing and pay the balance. For me that was a four hour round trip on both occasions. It was necessary for David to “go the extra mile” for me as some of the bike’s history was inaccurate. He needed to get paperwork to confirm this from a Honda dealer I noticed these errors on my first visit and David instantly telephoned the dealer concerned - crucially on speaker phone so I could hear both sides of the conversation.......this impressed me, as I found that to be open and honest. The dealer accepted that the error was theirs. David then had to “encourage” the dealer to put that in writing over the next week, so that I have a full record of the correct service history. I like to make my own judgements about the people I deal with and have found David and his son to be open, honest, tenacious on my behalf and fair. It has been a pleasure for me to deal with David and his son Thank you
