Lies lies lies
Don’t know where to start really.... when we first came to see the 14k Mercedes Aclass I asked jack about the service history & was assured it had Full Mercedes service history & he would print it off for when we picked it up. When we came to pick up he said he had not printed it as he had trouble that morning logging into Mercedes website but assured me if I took key into Mercedes they would do it for me! I asked if he was absolutely positive it had service history & he convinced me he had seen it,,, I took his word for it!! We arrived home & car wouldn’t lock... we had to go to Halfords to buy batteries for both keys.... luckily we just made it or car would be open all night. Then we noticed the Hugh dent at bottom of drivers door! Was our own fault admittedly for not finding before, but he had parked the car on pick up close to another one & raining so it made it difficult to see. The car had not been cleaned so decided to clean it, that’s when we discovered it was caked in sap or something similar.... took hours to polish off!! We went to Mercedes next day and they said that there was no service history with them at all.... just the delivery report at 18miles. Annoyed I called Jack & he said I’m sure there is somewhere...... a week later ( & many calls) I received a Very dodgy looking service book with 2 services in same hand writing & pen, one about 15k with a Mercedes stamp but no details of garage it supposedly was serviced in and the second one done in the garage they use for mots. Not believing these where real I took to approved Mercedes garage who was of the opinion that the car had not been recently serviced as the screen wash was empty & the engine oil was definitely not new. Very upsetting experience ..... I think that Jack tells so many lies he actually believes himself!!
