Rip off merchants

These guys buy cars from auctions give them a quick clean and sell them on. Great if you get a good one but if like me there is a problem Liam and his merry band will rip you off. The Mondeo I bought was immediately found to be seriously faulty. Returned it immediately and sat around for hours. Liam is the only one who can refund but never answers the phone. So I spent about £6k on car and have since spent more than £3k putting it right. To get rid of me they gave me an RAC warranty supposedly worth £800 and said to take the car home and claim on the warranty. Naturally the warranty didn't cover the problems found. They offered several hundred pounds to get a faulty auto gearbox checked out and then refused to pay for it. I took legal advice and sent letters. There own legal company advised Liam to pay up. He never did. In the end his own legal company, which initally were fighting me agreed that this company was out of order and they were in despair that they would not see through the payment as agreed. So since this I have had replacement DPF injector, EGR valve, front wheels (buckled), bearing, suspension arm and CV joint. Much of this due to some accident at some stage no doubt but sold to me by Oakwood as being a good car. Do not ever buy from these people. How one earth they continue to trade baffles me. I would hate for anyone else to be ripped off by these people. I could afford to pay more than half the sale price to sort the car out.
