I purchased a Honda Civic Turbo 2.2 diesel from Premier Car Warehouse in Bristol in June 2015. I was sold a 6 month warranty, service and MOT. Was really happy with my purchase up until I realised the air con was not working after my dad being in the car and looking over it. Having never had air con I did not know the difference. Phoned the garage and they said to take to a local garage to get re-gassed and they would reimburse which I thought was great. A couple of weeks later the air con has stopped working again. I have taken to Honda to investigate and there is a leak in the condenser so that needs replacing as well. Not only that but the front fog lights have a fault as well which Honda have said should have been a fail on the MOT. In addition to this the Honda Civic does not come with a spare tyre but foam instead which was in the car but out of date. I have phoned the garage to explain this ans express my concern. For starters how did it pass the MOT? Why were the fog lights not checked. And when the service was done why was it not noticed that the air con wasn't working. I was told that it would have been re-gassed and they wouldn't have known there was a leak (which is fair enough neither did Honda the first time round). But it was not re-gassed because the air con was not working from as soon as I had the car so they did not even notice that. Basically poor customer service and MOT was not done. If they were done properly I would not now have the hassle of having to go back and forth to Honda and through the warranty company. When I pointed out that their servicing and MOT should be looked into as clearly neither had been done properly I was not even given an apology. Whilst they were nice enough when purchasing the car I would not buy a car from them again. If you do get a car from them it would be worth your time and money to get the servicing and MOT done elsewhere.
