After sales service diabolical.

Sold me a BMW 1 series with on the legal limit (or under) tread on all tyres, 1 tyre was 7 years old and 2 were 8 years old (well past recommended age limit). Maybe I’m being harsh, the middle of the tread was “OK” and because the tyres were fine in Dec 19 during the MOT its fine to sell on (I bought the car in March 2020), the outer of the tyres weren’t. They were bald and showing thread. Spoke to the garage at length and agreed the car needed to go back to them to look ALAS IT HAPPENED DURING LOCKDOWN so I couldn’t take the car back AND because they told me they were shut and would sort the issues when back open (this could be months). I mentioned I had spoken to The AA (they’re a member of The AA garage scheme), the garage all of a sudden could be opened (no mention of any precautions they were taking to ensure ours and their safety with social distancing etc) and I MUST take the car back to them for them to have the car for a few days to look at sorting the tyres if they needed it (wheels were mentioned but the ultimate issue was the tyres), yes, DAYS for tyres!!!!??? I got an independent report on the tyres and they agreed all tyres were warn and aged but this is not good enough for the garage. I agree legally the garage can see the car etc etc BUT not during the lockdown thus leaving me 27 miles away from them with an unsafe car and unable to use it for medication and food. I asked for Wyboston Car Sales to take all the issues and circumstances in to consideration as did The AA but they are sticking to their guns meaning I have had to pay for 4 new tyres to make the car usable during lockdown and the garage will not think about reimbursing for unsatisfactory quality product(s) sold, something I feel is not unreasonable barring in mind the lockdown circumstances, the distances involved, the unsafe nature of the tyres, the report from industry experts and mitigating losses to me for drives that are not needed. Oh do I mention the incorrect info on the advert now or later?? I've got 17 inch wheels on the car but the advert states 16....
