Utterly useless
I had an issue with my daughters BMW X3. The timing chain was obviously stretched and the polycarbonate guides shot at 85000 miles. I was looking for a goodwill offering from BMW. They eventually offered the parts free but wanted to charge £3400 for labour. I contacted BMW customer service and it was clear that the garage didn't know the process to see if they thought a better offer was appropriate. The garage employee kept saying he had only been working there for 3 months as an excuse but then stopped returning calls. He was always available if we visited the garage but never answered the phone apparently because 'he was with a customer'. Hiding from customers seems to be the chosen customer service approach.
