NOT RECOMMENDED. SOLD AN UNSAFE VEHICLE!

We bought a Land Rover Defender 90 from Rossendale Valley 4x4 Ltd in May 2019. We were specifically assured that the chassis was in a fair condition IT WAS NOT. We were informed by an independent garage that it needed a NEW CHASSIS amongst other things! The vehicle was extremely unsafe to drive. If we had towed anything the chassis would have crumbled. Body filler had been used to fill holes in the chassis and painted over! We could not drive the vehicle from August 2019 as it was a danger to ourselves and other road uses. The MOT (Feb '19) had NO advisories, only 2,000 miles later the MOT in 2020 has 8 MAJOR advisories with a price tag of several thousands of pounds.. Today we have had our Section 75 / Charge back claim upheld by our credit card company and are starting a complaint through Trading Standards.
