Terrible experience with the owners of C

The Audi TT I purchased for my wife was a catalogue of faults from day one. Initially the garage proprietors were ok and tried to address the many issues we had with the car but soon washed their hands of the problem deciding to blame me for what turned out to be a longstanding pre purchase issue which had caused terminal damage within the car My prefered option was to go through small claims court however my legal advisor suggested making a Section 75 claim against my credit card provider who funded the deposit. Barclaycard commissioned two independent inspections, the latter by an Audi main dealer, as a result the car was deemed beyond economical repair (water damage to electrics, mouldy carpets and seats) I have now received a full refund of the purchase price. Ok I've lost out through having a vehicle which I had to insure for four months but could not use. I've been told I can seek redress from the garage for this and other expenses incurred but I'd rather just leave this feedback as a warning to anyone else who might be foolish enough to consider buying from Compass Garage Trade.
