On being 'dumped' by Snows, Suzuki,Poole

Not for the first time, I have learned that whilst big businesses profess to be loyal to its customers, it is rarely the case. I received a letter telling me that Snows Suzuki (Poole) was ridding itself of its Suzuki franchise. Fair enough, that's business. What really annoyed me was that the letter informing me of the decision only told me where the nearest Suzuki dealerships were. However, I had been persuaded to take out a three year Service Plan. You would have thought that before dumping me the company would have checked my records and would have found that I had a service plan and would then have reminded me that I was paying via a direct debit. But no, I had to contact the service plan company to cancel the plan. I had then to cancel the DD and of course I incurred a £30 cancellation charge. I did get a refund of the cancellation from Snows But I had do all of the work with not even the hint of an apology.
