When I first engaged Barrett’s BMW Ashford, they were friendly, informative, helpful and courteous. They gave me a fantastic deal and were a pleasure to deal with...until I signed on the dotted line. When I collected the car, it was sat outside the dealership, boot open, covered in water droplets where it was drip-drying from a recent wash. I was led out to the car, shown around some of the features and questions fielded. I drove away a little deflated but didn’t want to let the experience spoil the new car joy. I had some subsequent minor issues with the car that needed sorting. It took months to sort and I had to repeatedly chose them for updates. Although they were courteous on emails/phone, it alway felt like my issues were low priority. Had I not made a fuss, it’s unlikely they would’ve pursued my issues to resolution. I’ve had the car for almost nine months now and not received one call or email to ask how I’m getting on with the car, any issues, etc. I’ve even been into the showroom a few times since barely received any acknowledgment from the salesmen that I dealt with. Extremely poor and disappointing post sales service marred what should’ve been a pleasurable one.
