First car search with a friend

My friend and colleague (young lady) did not know what car kind of car and what would be best for a newly past driver would be bestir cost and insurance. I had spotted an Yaris at Arnold Clark Toyota Aberdeen that looked like good value for money and asked if Kristine could have a test drive as she had only driven diesels with her driving instructors. Anna Canning at Toyota was more than happy to help with this request. Test drive was very good but this was the first dive of a car my colleague had driven. I had a call later on that evening from my friend saying we would like to go ahead, unfortunately we had missed out on this car! Our visit today was for a ford Fiesta and stock available items were not what fitted the brief we asked for a test drive of a car with a similar engine, again this was not to much effort. We had visited the Arnold Clark Ford site with a request to drive a car with a similar car with this engine size but that seemed to be a real hassle for the sales rep as their was no immediate sale available, how would you know without trying! I spent 29 year in the motor trade and i totally respect Joe the sales manager to get a close on a stock item deal but we have left Toyota Aberdeen with nothing but positive feed back to say. Great work Anna and thank you for your time Joe, we will be back.
