Appalling lack of customer care

RAC use this partner company for breakdowns. Our car was towed to their garage after calling RAC. As we received no contact after 48 hours - I called to be told they hadn't had time to assess our car and would call to update. No call came so we went into the garage, only to be told they would call with an update. No call made until one week later when they rang to inform us our car was ready for collection with a bill for just under £1,000.00. We will never take our car here again.
