Totally unhelpful.

Very interested in a 2012 Mini convertible; arranged test drive. Max allowed distance was about one mile & back, max speed limit 50mph. We asked tok take it a little further, eg on the open road to see how it performed on faster roads / wind draught with roof down. Told firmly not necessary and not possible due to their insurance??! Car was listed with CarGurus and Auto Trader, both of whom rated the price "High", by 10%. Dealer not concerned, refused to negotiate; said he had others interested. Unbelievable. Some excellent vehicles there: such a shame we will never go back.
