Bought a 2013 E class mercedes. I was exporting this car to Ireland so agreed for the car to be fully serviced and a new mot the day i was picking it up. While i was driving from the ferry home to the west of Ireland I got a blow out on the back rear tyre. When i took it off i seen how badly worn it was on the inside, I brought the car to my mechanic to get a new tyre and asked him to check the rest of the tyres and also the car as I had to do an nct which is the equivalent of an mot in Ireland after importing the car. I then found that 2 other tyres were in a worse state and had to be replaced, not alone that, the back spring was broke, the headlight was broke from a crash it had and also back brake and front brakes had to be replaced. Not alone that, the brakes wires were cut and sauldered to get extra life out of them (very sneaky and dangerous). The thermostat had also be replaced. How this car passed an mot beggars believe because it would fail an nct here on any 1 of these.
