Mr P

Warning to anyone thinks for purchasing

Without prejudice I purchased a second hand car from Woolston care centre Warrington dealership late 2019 .Within 24 hours the car developed serious engine failures, the car was taken back to Woolston care centre Warrington bye my recovery services I was informed for days later the repair had been carried out and new parts had been fitted by their motor mechanic ? . When I went to pick the car up and attempted to drive home the same fault reoccurred on the motorway, I was very nearly involved in high speed crash. The car was once again recovered by my recovery service and take him back to the Woolston care centre Warrington garage, whereupon I was informed “that it was my fault that the car add mechanical failures because of the way I was driving it”. The car was left again with their mechanic, latter I was once’s more told that the fault had been repaired a new part had been put into the engine. But this time the car would spent over 9 days being repaired. I was astonished by the staffs very rude attitudes they were not apologetic or concerned. I asked for a refund which was denied and was told that the car was faulty because I wasn't driving it the way that their mechanic had which would of course was utter rubbish. When the fault reappeared for the 3rd time within 4 hours of being picking it up from the garage. The car was take him back to the garage whereupon for the 3rd time they said that they had found the faults and repaired them with more new parts. Before I'd driven away the fault light came on the dashboard warning me of engine failure and the engine cut out which is a safety feature built into the car, I asked the salesperson and the mechanic if they thought that this was acceptable. They asked if I wanted to PURCHASE different car from them, that way I wouldn't have to worry about the engine failure of course I declined asked for my money back these requests were declined Informing me that they had and no refund policy but I could purchase a different car from them and they would by the car back from me at a discount because the car had now been own by me and was 3rd hand . They said there was no more that they were prepared to do and walked away leaving me with a car that did not START miles from home on a very dark went to the evening just before Christmas. I had to call my breakdown recovery service once more transport the car to a different garage. I tried writing to the owners whose registered address I found on the company house website, which was care of their accountant’s services despite sending 2 registered letters and 3 emails I received no response whatsoever. The staff at the dealership were the rudest people I have ever come across my view they appeared to have lots of experience in very poor customer service. The car was taken to a different garage. I could not trust this dealership any longer after 3 attempts they had failed to repair the car I was informed by the in-dependant mechanic, but no new ports had been fitted and there was also a serious fault with the brakes and steering column. I am aware of my rights under the consumer law I did request a refund and for the dealership to take the car back before any the repairs were carried by a different mechanic their response was silence they would not enter into any negotiations and refused point blank to follow the guidance of the law. I even wait to see them and ask them for their resistance the only response with a lot of smirking and informing me that that that they had to do nothing. I gave them a printout of the law which they put in a wastepaper bin. I was left with no option but to paid for the repairs which were very costly .The owners of Woolston care centre Warrington Mr Froggatt ignore all correspondence when I went to tale to the staff with the evidence accompanied by the mechanic that carried out the repairs successfully basically the staff found it to be funny and advise me to sell the car to somebody to recoup my losses. I was also given a MOT certificate at the time of paying for the car and informed that the car had a full serviced by their mechanic the day after I purchased it from the Woolston care centre Warrington. On the 10th week the car was showing light on the dashboard saying it was a service light advising that the services was overdue. Once more I contacted Woolston care centre Warrington and was inform that they could turn the light off on the engine or I could just ignore it. Eventually the car went into an independent garage where they carried out a full service on the car. I was informed that the car had not been serviced they could tell this by the wearing tear on the parts they also replaced the faults they also advise me the car in their opinion it was unsafe and could not pass a MOT. It required three new tyres and other repairs. It was only 10 weeks from when I purchased the car at the Woolston care centre Warrington I was issued with the new MOT certificate giving me peace of mind knowing the car was now fit for purpose. Putting all this to one side the purpose of this review is to save people from serious injury or maybe death my sincere guidance to anybody that is looking for new or use car is do not too use this dealership put. We could not rest knowing that anybody was in a car that could danger their lives and that of their families. Please be very careful and do not believe anything you were told by this company the owner Mr Froggatt appears to be totally uninterested for the safety of individuals that he is knowingly selling cars that are dangerous and not fit for purpose his staff have the same attitude .
