VERY GOOD AND HELPFUL SERVICE
WE BOUGHT A RENAULT CAPTUR ON 6 JANUARY 2020. MR BOLINGBROKE WAS THE SALES PERSON AND DID ALL HE COULD TO HELP US CHOOSE OUR CAR. BUT, AND THIS IS A VERY BIG BUT. WHEN WE DROVE OFF UP THE A23, WE MUST HAVE TRAVELLED LESS THAN HALF A MILE, THE CAR RAN OUT OF PETROL. VERY VERY FORTUNATELY, AS MY WIFE WHO WAS DRIVING, WAS ABLE TO TURN INTO A LAYBY THAT WAS ALSO A BUS STOP. I HATE TO THINK WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED HAD WE JUST STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MOTORWAY. WE TELEPHONED RENAULT AND MR BOLINGBROKE CAME OUT, BOUGHT SOME PETROL FROM A NEARBY GARAGE. HE HAS ORIGINALLY TOLD US THAT THERE IS USUALLY ABOUT £6 WORTH OF PETROL IN THE CAR. SO THERE YOU ARE, WE WERE LUCKY IN THE END. BUT I AM NOT IMPRESSED BY WHAT RENAULT LET HAPPEN TO US. KEITH MAY
