Bmw recall in Watford

I had my timing chain replaced a round three weeks by recall, I now have a rattling noise ,I called them this morning they told me it will cost £174 to diagnose the fault vehicle , around an hour later they call me and tell me it will need £1500 repairs, They did send me a health check of my brakes pad which has nothing to do with engine noise I actually brought it in for at a cost of £174 that’s very unhelpful. I’ve been in on Saturday to let them know I’ll picking up my vehicle, they then tell me to take my keys and leave, I didn’t except my keys at this point the service adviser behind the desk responded that’s ridiculous, I had a phone call today on 19,12,19 telling me they didn’t cause the fault and not taking responsibility, I believe that the recall was not carried out correctly due to this causing lack of oil starvation to the engine and causing internal damage, my vehicle now has no value and the repairs which have been caused out value the vehicle thanks to Bmw Watford, I have contacted a bmw specialist and he asked me why they did the recall, and if when replacing the chain did they remove and clean the oil pick , if this had not been done could be the cause of the internal damage cause , I’ve had no help form Bmw uk customer service what so ever
