Warranty and Unpaid bill for repairs
Bought a Mercedes S Class from Woodlands Carriage Company in May with a warranty, Unfortunately the car had a lot of faults on delivery and I finally got the car in June a month later. Although this was a pain they did provide a courtesy car. All good up to now...... The car then developed another engine fault and again had to go off for repair, An independent garage (promoted by Steve at Woodlands) carrying out the repair, had a reasonable bill after carrying out tests to rectify a coil pack issue (expensive on V12 Mercs), I agreed with Steve at Woodlands to pay the garage bill for trying to fix the problem and he would reimburse me for the first £300 + Vat (he could then claim this back from warranty Co). This was agreed before I paid the £512 bill! I would then get the car coil packs fixed through a combination of the independent garage and warranty Co. This has still not happened (7 months on) as the warranty company like to drag there heals! Anyhow Steve and Clare have not paid me the £300 + Vat and chose to ignore my emails, etc. Buyer beware of the warranties sold and the promises from the business owners.
