Terrible Service

APPAULING, DIABOLICAL and SHOCKING after care service. Fri 27th Sept bought car, Mon 07th Oct discovered red light, restricted performance fault, Tues 08th Oct reported fault to salesman, Wed 09th Oct Alternator completely failed. Friday 12th Oct recieved phone call from salesman saying hadn't forgotten me and would come out on monday 15th Oct to try and move car (Came with powerpack). Weds 23rd Oct car was eventually picked up with Flatbed. Monday 28th Oct had late phone call to say car would be delivered back with repairs completed. Tues 29th Oct rang salesman to report that red light fault was still on car. Wed 30th Oct was asked by salesman to ring mechanic to arrange convenient time for me to take in and fault was identified. Thurs 31st Oct Saleman rings to say car was booked in for repair on Tues 05th Nov. Mon 04th rang mechanic to find out car was not booked in and so would not be repaired. Rang Salesman to say was now looking towards Trading Standards as car was not fit for purpose. Salesman personaly apologised on behalf of self and mechanic but would not apologise on behalf of company. Later in afternoon got phone phone call from comany owner, to say salesman had gone home and car was now booked in for repair on Weds 06th Nov, but he would need an extra £70.00 if I wanted a genuine part fitted, also suggested I should be saying more pleases and thankyous to him for his help. Told him would not be entering into such coversation and if he wanted to put matter right he should extend warranty from Weds 06th of Nov provided car was fit for purpose, which unsurprisingly he refused to do. Car was eventually repaired on 06th Nov, well over a month after purchase, with genuine part. Have not heard anything from dealer since, but have learned that Salesman had actually quit and walked out on company on Monday 04th Nov. Needless to say will not be buying another car from this dealer and would not recommend Tone Motor Company to anyone else.
