overcharged for repair on clutch
having had my bmw taken to rybrook shrewsbury by bmw service technician,was told my clutch and flywheel had bent going through water on road was told warrenty company wouldnt pay,,when the bill arrived it was £2,500 this is £1,000 more than it should have cost.i told the service manager iwas being overcharged but was told it was because it was a genuine bmw clutch so costs morebut they had fitted an luk clutch and flywheel which was the same as they took out which was fitted at manufacture,my local garage could buy this clutch ,flywheel and all bolts etc for only£500 with labour and vat this would have cost me £1,200 this is a total rip off company and you should steer clear,also the staff in the service department were rude,arrogant.i love my bmw cars but this is the last time i would buy anything or have any repairs done by rybrook shrewsbury the staff who were very poor are mathew smith service manager and peter powell after sales manager
