Do not buy from here

a week ago Awful service, Kent Motoring World give false promises and misinformation. Terrible from start to finish. DO NOT TRUST OR TAKE THEIR WORD. I placed a £500 deposit on a car which had no malfunctions and seemed to be in good working order. Picked up the car a week later to be told that an engine management light was now on and that I could take the car away on the day and get it looked at and repaired at a local independent garage (dealership would pay), or leave it with the dealership for another week and they would repair it. As the dealership was about an hour and a half away from where I lived I thought best to take it home and get it fixed locally so I dint have to waste another trip. Upon calling the dealership with the problems highlighted by the local garage, Kent motoring world went back on there promise and said they would not pay for it to be repaired as it would be much cheaper for them to do the work themselves. This is understandable but why did they make the promise to pay for the repairs if they knew they would go back on this? I then had to drive the car back to the dealership at the weekend and leave it there for a week for repairs to take place, this left me without a way of getting to work. Also at the time of the deposit being placed, the salesman couldn't tax the vehicle as there was an issue with the logbook and I was told that this would be sorted by the time I picked the car up the following weekend. Over the phone during the week I was told by Kent motoring world that they had spoken with DVLA and that tax was not an issue and that it would be fine for me to drive the car following purchase with no tax in my name. Having waited 7 weeks after collecting the car, I had still not recieved my log book through the post and decided to chase this. They informed me that it must have been lost in the post and they were going to apply for a document to get a new logbook and that this can take 4-6 weeks. I checked this with the DVLA and they informed me that I should not have been driving the car at all, having been misinformed by kent motoring world. I then relayed this information to the dealership to be told 'yeah it probably would have been alright to drive without tax but if its advised that you dont drive it'. This is disgraceful as as I was misinformed into breaking the law. I then had to go 6 weeks without a car as it was not allowed on the road until the new logbook was made by the dvla. This left me having to get taxis to and from work for around 5 and a half weeks until it arrived. Do not trust Kent Motoring World.
