Sold me a damaged unsafe car

I bought a car from Edward Johnson Otley which was unsafe, it has "aledgedly" had a 60 point safety inspection, which was clearly not done, despite the sales patter. It had a badly damaged rear wheel which had a new tyre fitted by them the day before it was sold to me. It was so badly damaged that it looked almost square on a tyre balancing machine the day after they sold it, the car vibrated through the chassis badly enough for me to take it straight to a tyre depot day after I bought it for inspection. How can they fit a new tyre to a wheel the day before I collected it and not notice the severe damage to the wheel rim on tyre balancer, after having a so say 60 point safety inspection. The impact damage to the rear wheel also caused server damage to the front suspension, after its MOT later, the technical brought to my attention advisory of severe wear to inside edge of front tyre on same side, so much so, and with the car pulling always slightly to the left, I took it to BMW main dealers where upon it became evident there was significant damage to front strut, it was bent, it needed a new strut, new wheel hub, and new suspension top mount, although edward johnson did pay for a new rear wheel, they would only pay half towards the a bill to repair the front suspension. Now this car had supposedly had a 60 point safety inspection, in which it states it had a road test, check alignment, check physical condition of wheels brakes, tyres and suspension. On homeward journey it was clear there was a vibration from rear of car and yet they say they road tested it, how did this car pass a safety inspection, and them not notify me of the advisory to front offside tyre worn to the limit on the inside, but with 6 to 7 mm tread on its outside, a clear indicator of alignment issues.
