Beyond incompetent

Booked our Citroen in at Chevron Motors for routine service with nothing apparently wrong with it. Drove it home with engine management light flashing and beeping and engine misfiring. Apparently they didn't notice the latter and assumed we knew about the former, which is why they didn't phone us to offer us the chance for them to make money diagnosing or fixing the problem (which ended up costing us £2400 at a different garage). I'll leave you to decide whether you want to risk dealing with them.
