Friendly people but RAC check maybe fake
I bought a ford fiesta from Fiestaworld many years ago but upon putting down a deposit I was silly to not go for a test drive first. Afterwards they told me they were going to do a RAC check on the whole vehicle and find any faults. The following week I came back to purchase the car and drive away on the same day. They told me there was nothing wrong with the car. However the moment I started driving the speedometer wasn't working at all. I did drive immediately back where they said it WAS working last week. They did fix it of course and they were friendly the whole time. But I am sceptical whether there was a RAC check as they strongly promote. On that day I also never recieve any paperwork on the results of the RAC checks. There were also two things already broken which they didn't disclose too me but only realised later which was the heated windows and the clip to fold down the drivers seat (which was superglued but broke on the first use). This was my first ever car I bought and again was stupid not to ask questions about the car and proof of the checks. Won't be making the same mistakes in the future.
