DONT GO TO GRANGE BARNET

Considering that they represent a Luxury Brand , Grange Land Rover Barnet are consistently the worst customer experience you could possibly Encounter - You only need to sit in the showroom for a few minutes and you will witness a chaotic atmosphere where it feels like no one is in charge or setting standards as staff wander around chatting to each other only to occasional leave their glass office to offer a hollow apology to a never ending line of unhappy customers . Sadly for me they are the closest service centre to where I live and because I have a Range rover I am forced at times because of my warranty to use them , I work in a service industry & therefore understand that at times there are issues that are out of everyone's control but at Grange Barnet they have made an art form out of making what ever problem you have worse . Here as a warning are my last 3 encounters with this terrible dealer 2 years ago - following an add blue alert on my car i called the dealership and was told pop in as its a while you wait service - I walked in no one asked me if i needed help went to the service desk got ignored asked for help got told to wait , no one came so i left and made written complaint to them & they sent a tech to my house to put the add blue in the car . 1- year ago I took my car to them for its regular service and they tried to get me to pay for all sorts of expensive break and tyre issues saying they were "concerned for my safety " I declined and said i would get that work done elsewhere cheaper & then when I returned to my car money (pound coins) had been stolen from it !!!! I asked to see the service manager as this was a serious issue and not only did he not come and talk to me but they offered me £6 in an envelope completely missing the point of how serious the matter was - I left vowing to never return - I went to a local garage and the brakes/tyres were worn but not dangerous . 2 weeks ago - My car went into safety mode and was diagnosed by the call out engineer as an oil pressure issue - I tried to use a local small top class garage but they informed me that specialist tooling was required and so they booked me back into Grange Barnet - They had my car 2 weeks and say they replaced the oil pressure sensor and the turbo under warranty - at no time was i offered a courtesy car & had to chase them every time for updates . Today - my car was returned to me after 2 weeks with paperwork stating all work completed ,tested , and fault codes cleared and within 30mins the car broke down , wont start and has the same fault code as 2 weeks ago !!! I phoned grange barnet and 2 hours later their advice was "call Range Rover recovery " I said to the service guy who called me " you don't even sound surprised" ? - he replied "nothing surprises me" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T GO TO GRANGE BARNET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
