Very poor after service

Vehicle purchased from Tim Brookshaw Car Sales in May for 10499 so not a cheap car, 1 day after purchase issue with turbo confirmed by aa, temporary repair done by tim brookshaws (they greased part of turbo) 2 months later same turbo failed completely so pre-existing fault as not repaired properly in first place, dealer did over repair with used parts (although turbo failing would have also damaged engine severely) also managed to get them to offer refund but owner wanted to deduct £3000 with an offer of £7500, which doesn't follow trading standard or consumer rights, owner not willing to listen to reason and luckily as I had paid deposit on a credit card and rest cash I was able to contact credit card company and they have now refunded full amount aid of 10499, moral is if buying a car always pay part on a credit card (this dealer now has a sign up saying credit cards not accepted although websites says they do), sales staff are helpful but owner doesn't appear to be willing to work to resolve issues , its his way or no way regardless of consumer laws not agreeing with him.
