BUYER BEWARE!
CSN’s owner is your stereotypical used car salesman - with a disarming, ‘Del Boy’ patter when selling, but if problems arise after you buy, don’t expect the same treatment in after-sales service. My Son-in-Law bought a 7-seater from Woolston Garage in June, but within two days the engine was randomly cutting out. The warranty allowed him to take it to a local garage (not a main dealer), but after EIGHT weeks the garage admitted defeat in trying to find & fix the fault. My S-in-L and daughter were loaned an inadequate car to accommodate their family (4 children) during that time, and after hearing that their car was unrepairable there came another shock. Declining a replacement car in favour of a refund, the proprietor told them that no funds were available until he sold more cars - WHAT?! My daughter, after a number of fruitless calls to him, sought legal advice and it was only a letter threatening court action which finally secured their refund. CSN? Caution Seriously Needed!
