Steer clear

One star is too high for this establishment. On first appearance Central Garage Galashiels appeared friendly and open however they were not honest about details of the car I bought from them in June. The official booklet was also misleading and they did not point this out. The car turned out to be totally unsuitable with many faults. They refused to acknowledge my customer rights under the Consumer Protection Acts and would do absolutely nothing to help. Simply didn't care. They also refused to call me back when I called every day for a week to discuss the situation. Also found out later that I was vastly overcharged for car. I traded in a good car and am left with a car I can't use and have lost thousands.
