Disappointing after care

Purchased a car from LCH Cars and paid the full asking price as dealership put it through a fresh Mot and assured me ‘if anything needs doing we do it’. Just short of three months later (within warranty period) I’ve just paid for two new brake discs and pads as they were worn down to the metal. I’ve been assured by my garage that these should have been changed at the mot and the DVLA lists the fault as dangerous (the car should not be driven). the car passed a second Mot later that day presumably with repairs carried out. Lch have been unable to provide any sort of proof that the works have been carried out and have been less than helpful in this matter simply saying that the work was done and it’s wear and tear. I have never known brake pads or discs wear out after 3000 miles. They have refused to cover my costs or even make a partial payment, they only reply or follow up to my messages when pressed and I imagine hoping this matter will simply go away. I certainly won’t be purchasing from lch in future and would urge others to check their purchase the same day as I mistakenly put my faith in the dealer.
